The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,493.29), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eanger Irving Couse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thunder Birds in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 715,783.95).
