The work Sunlight by Eanger Irving Couse was sold in the From Coast to Coast: Property from a Private Florida Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,493.29), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eanger Irving Couse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thunder Birds in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 715,783.95).

Die Arbeit Sunlight von Eanger Irving Couse wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion From Coast to Coast: Property from a Private Florida Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.493,29) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eanger Irving Couse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thunder Birds im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 819.000,00 (€ 715.783,95).
