This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in 12 - and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Duncan McCormick; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Trevor’s Dream sold at auction in June this year with the realized price of GBP 177,800.00 (€ 206,928.59).
