Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,952.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dunbar Dyson Beck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Big Fight, which sold at auction in March 2009 for USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,655.23).
