In September 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Ready To Fight by Dunbar Dyson Beck for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,264.62). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dunbar Dyson Beck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Big Fight in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,655.23).
