Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Fists by Dunbar Dyson Beck for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,557.31). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dunbar Dyson Beck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Big Fight in March 2009 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,655.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fists von Dunbar Dyson Beck für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.557,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dunbar Dyson Beck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Big Fight im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.655,23).
