This artwork by Dr. Atl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2010. In the Latin American Paintings auction, the work Valle De Pihuano sold for USD 230,500.00 (€ 176,818.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dr. Atl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mañana Luminosa in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,650,500.00 (€ 1,268,639.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Dr. Atl erzielte im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Paintings wurde die Arbeit Valle De Pihuano für USD 230.500,00 (€ 176.818,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Atl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mañana Luminosa im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.650.500,00 (€ 1.268.639,51).
