The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,874.18) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Douglas Percy Bliss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gunhills, Windley, which sold at auction in November 2005 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,051.81).
