It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,405.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dorothy Tennant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Bathers, which sold at auction in April 2006 for USD 14,400.00 (€ 11,406.84).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.405,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Tennant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Bathers beobachtet, die im April 2006 für USD 14.400,00 (€ 11.406,84) versteigert wurde.
