It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,776.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothy Brett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Santo Domingo Corn Dance, 1959 in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 69,062.50 (€ 61,020.06).

Die Arbeit Pueblo; and Indians by a pueblo, rainbow and storm von Dorothy Brett kam im Dezember 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.776,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Brett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Santo Domingo Corn Dance, 1959 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 69.062,50 (€ 61.020,06).
