The work Pine Trees by Dong Shouping was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in September last year. It achieved a price of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 16,395.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissus and Red Berries in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,680,000.00 (€ 309,951.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees von Dong Shouping kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 16.395,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissus and Red Berries im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.680.000,00 (€ 309.951,59).
