Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Decorative Asian Works of Art Online, which included the work Landscape, 1964 by Dong Shouping. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,160.00 (€ 3,809.52), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissus and Red Berries in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,680,000.00 (€ 309,951.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Decorative Asian Works of Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape, 1964 von Dong Shouping zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.160,00 (€ 3.809,52) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissus and Red Berries im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.680.000,00 (€ 309.951,59).
