Artwork auctioned at seven times the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Dong Shouping was worth HKD 14,400.00 (€ 1,689.77) to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III at POLY and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 2,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissus and Red Berries in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,680,000.00 (€ 309,951.59).
Kunstwerk zum Siebenfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Dong Shouping war einem Käufer im November diesen Jahres HKD 14.400,00 (€ 1.689,77) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III bei POLY erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissus and Red Berries im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.680.000,00 (€ 309.951,59).
