Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Trees and Clouds of Mt. Huangshan by Dong Shouping was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 252,500.00 (€ 28,600.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Shouping achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissus and Red Berries in June 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,680,000.00 (€ 309,951.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Trees and Clouds of Mt. Huangshan von Dong Shouping kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.500,00 (€ 28.600,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Shouping erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissus and Red Berries im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.680.000,00 (€ 309.951,59).
