It achieved a price of HKD 30,475,000.00 (€ 2,891,919.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dong Bangda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Spring in Peach Blossom Land sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of HKD 38,620,000.00 (€ 4,706,105.12).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 30.475.000,00 (€ 2.891.919,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Dong Bangda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Spring in Peach Blossom Land im November 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 38.620.000,00 (€ 4.706.105,12).
