Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Landscape by Dong Bangda was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 16,509.27), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in Peach Blossom Land in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 38,620,000.00 (€ 4,706,105.12).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Landscape von Dong Bangda wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 16.509,27) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring in Peach Blossom Land im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.620.000,00 (€ 4.706.105,12).
