In May 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Album by Dong Bangda. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 566,400.00 (€ 64,675.26), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in Peach Blossom Land in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 38,620,000.00 (€ 4,706,105.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Album von Dong Bangda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 566.400,00 (€ 64.675,26) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring in Peach Blossom Land im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.620.000,00 (€ 4.706.105,12).
