Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dong Bangda achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in November 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 132,000.00 (€ 14,677.06) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in Peach Blossom Land in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 38,620,000.00 (€ 4,706,105.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dong Bangda erzielte im November 2021 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 132.000,00 (€ 14.677,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring in Peach Blossom Land im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.620.000,00 (€ 4.706.105,12).
