Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Donato Creti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in April 2021. In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Bacchus sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donato Creti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Sibyl in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,095,000.00 (€ 896,732.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Donato Creti erzielte im April 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Bacchus für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donato Creti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Sibyl im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.095.000,00 (€ 896.732,45).
