Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Donald McIntyre achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Rocky Shore, Iona sold for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,865.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald McIntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trevine No 1, which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Donald McIntyre erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Rocky Shore, Iona für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.865,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Donald McIntyre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trevine No 1 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.466,28) versteigert wurde.
