Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cottages and Reflections by Donald McIntyre was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,840.00 (€ 4,409.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald McIntyre - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trevine No 1, which sold at auction in April 2021 for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,466.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cottages and Reflections von Donald McIntyre wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.840,00 (€ 4.409,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Donald McIntyre mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trevine No 1 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für GBP 10.837,50 (€ 12.466,28) versteigert wurde.
