Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ballooning Subject by Donald Grant was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,353.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Cheetah and her Cubs in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 28,800.00 (€ 24,320.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ballooning Subject von Donald Grant wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.353,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Cheetah and her Cubs im Dezember 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.800,00 (€ 24.320,22).
