Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rider on the Plains by Don Perceval was sold in the CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Los Angeles in November 2002. The price achieved of USD 3,226.50 (€ 3,248.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Don Perceval - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pony Express Rider, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,929.35).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.226,50 (€ 3.248,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
