In July 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work Two Views Of The Siege Of Havana, 1762 by Dominic Serres. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 194,500.00 (€ 245,325.65), 62% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dominic Serres - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Capture Of Havana, Cuba: The Taking Of The Town By British Forces Under The Command Of The Earl Of Albemarle, 14 August 1762, which sold at auction in July 2016 for GBP 581,000.00 (€ 690,353.69).

Im Juli 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Views Of The Siege Of Havana, 1762 von Dominic Serres zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 245.325,65) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
