In November 2006 Christies in Milan held the auction Post war and Contemporary Art, which included the work Gita In Barca by Domenico Purificato. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 22,320.00. With this result, Gita In Barca is even the most expensive work of art by Domenico Purificato that we have observed at auctions so far.
