The work Amanti by Domenico Purificato was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in May 2003. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,580.00 24% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Purificato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gita In Barca, which sold at auction in November 2006 for EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Amanti von Domenico Purificato wurde im Mai 2003 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.580,00 und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Domenico Purificato mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gita In Barca beobachtet, die im November 2006 für EUR 22.320,00 versteigert wurde.
