The work Saint Roch, a fragment by Domenico Morone was sold in the Old Masters & 19th Century Art Including Select Works From the Salander-O'Reilly Galleries auction at Christies in New York in June 2010. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,254.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Morone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Death of Uriah the Hittite; and The Announcement of the Death of Uriah to King David and Bathseba: presumably the end panels from a cassone in July 2005 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 34,811.77).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.254,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Morone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Death of Uriah the Hittite; and The Announcement of the Death of Uriah to King David and Bathseba: presumably the end panels from a cassone im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 34.811,77).
