The work Figura seduta by Domenico Morelli was sold in the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction at Il Ponte in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 7,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Domenico Morelli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2019 the work A seated moor with a sword (recto); A nude woman (verso) was auctioned for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,639.25).
