Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Morelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A seated moor with a sword (recto); A nude woman (verso) in January 2019 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,639.25).

Die Arbeit Arabo con turbante von Domenico Morelli kam im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 550,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Morelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A seated moor with a sword (recto); A nude woman (verso) im Januar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.639,25).
