Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Pressed Shirt by Domenico Gnoli was auctioned at Christies in June last year. The price achieved of EUR 226,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Gnoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black Hair in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 7,026,500.00 (€ 8,524,835.22).

Die Arbeit The Pressed Shirt von Domenico Gnoli kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 226.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Gnoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black Hair im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.026.500,00 (€ 8.524.835,22).
