Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Untitled (Entrance), a Series of Six Works on Paper by Dmitry Prigov. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,728.22). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitry Prigov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 29,265.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Entrance), a Series of Six Works on Paper von Dmitry Prigov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.728,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Prigov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 20.900,00 (€ 29.265,41) versteigert wurde.
