Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Six Works From The Design For Installation Series by Dmitry Prigov. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,787.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitry Prigov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 29,265.41).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six Works From The Design For Installation Series von Dmitry Prigov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.787,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Prigov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 20.900,00 (€ 29.265,41) versteigert wurde.
