Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fire in the Village by Dmitri Plavinsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,190.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dmitri Plavinsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fire in the Village von Dmitri Plavinsky kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.190,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38).
