Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition with Notes by Dmitri Plavinsky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2021. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,641.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitri Plavinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).
