Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cathedral with a Bat; Bosporus Tortoise; Old Woman; Salamanders; Spider's web and One etching by Dmitri Plavinsky was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,302.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dmitri Plavinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.302,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38).
