Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dmitri Plavinsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2020. In the Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online auction, the work Butterfly sold for GBP 47,880.00 (€ 53,166.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitri Plavinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 140,500.00 (€ 200,121.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dmitri Plavinsky erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online wurde die Arbeit Butterfly für GBP 47.880,00 (€ 53.166,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitri Plavinsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vivaldi'S Music Upon The Grand Canal beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 140.500,00 (€ 200.121,38) versteigert wurde.
