Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A mountainous landscape by Dirk Smorenberg. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dirk Smorenberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 68,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A mountainous landscape von Dirk Smorenberg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dirk Smorenberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.500,00.
