In the Modern Art auction, the work A Mountainous Landscape, Les Avants, Switzerland sold for EUR 12,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dirk Smorenberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 68,500.00.
