Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A forest in spring by Dirk Smorenberg was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Smorenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 68,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A forest in spring von Dirk Smorenberg kam im September 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Smorenberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.500,00.
