Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work It Rocks Us So Hard Ho Ho Ho 2 by Dirk Skreber was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,540.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Skreber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 497,600.00 (€ 387,750.33).

Die Arbeit It Rocks Us So Hard Ho Ho Ho 2 von Dirk Skreber kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.540,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Skreber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 497.600,00 (€ 387.750,33).
