Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A River Landscape With The Road To Emmaus by Dionijs Verburgh was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dionijs Verburgh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Extensive River Landscape With Huntsmen In The Foreground, A Town Beyond, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 11,153.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A River Landscape With The Road To Emmaus von Dionijs Verburgh kam im September 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Dionijs Verburgh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Extensive River Landscape With Huntsmen In The Foreground, A Town Beyond beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 11.153,11) versteigert wurde.
