Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Agamemnon's Wall III by Dimitri Hadzi was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,587.86). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dimitri Hadzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Levitation, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,302.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Agamemnon's Wall III von Dimitri Hadzi kam im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.587,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dimitri Hadzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Levitation beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.302,36) versteigert wurde.
