Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | New York, which included the work Femme et enfant au jardin des Tuileries by Dietz Edzard. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,828.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dietz Edzard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstporträt no. 5 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 74,388.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme et enfant au jardin des Tuileries von Dietz Edzard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.828,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dietz Edzard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstporträt no. 5 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 74.388,37).
