Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the ball by Dietz Edzard was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,816.00 (€ 3,285.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dietz Edzard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstporträt no. 5 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 74,388.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit At the ball von Dietz Edzard wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 3.285,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dietz Edzard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstporträt no. 5 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 74.388,37).
