Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work A floral arrangement with a clarinet and sheet music by Dietz Edzard for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,309.78). This price was achieved in the auction Home & InteriorsCollections at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dietz Edzard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstporträt no. 5 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 74,388.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A floral arrangement with a clarinet and sheet music von Dietz Edzard für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.309,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dietz Edzard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstporträt no. 5 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 74.388,37).
