Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fünf Linien (Five Lines) by Diet Sayler was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Diet Sayler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work o.T., which sold at auction in September 2013 for GBP 47,475.00 (€ 56,749.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fünf Linien (Five Lines) von Diet Sayler kam im April 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Diet Sayler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit o.T. beobachtet, die im September 2013 für GBP 47.475,00 (€ 56.749,02) versteigert wurde.
