The work Self-portrait with a bread roll by Dick Ket was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2002. It achieved a price of EUR 82,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dick Ket - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stilleven met fluit: a still life with flute, which sold at auction in November 2009 for EUR 241,000.00.

Die Arbeit Self-portrait with a bread roll von Dick Ket kam im April 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 82.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Dick Ket mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stilleven met fluit: a still life with flute beobachtet, die im November 2009 für EUR 241.000,00 versteigert wurde.
