Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Diana Armfield achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Viburnum Fragrans on the Christmas Table sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,293.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Diana Armfield; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Roses From the Front Wall, Llwynhir sold at auction in July 2019 with the realized price of GBP 3,562.00 (€ 3,910.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Diana Armfield erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Viburnum Fragrans on the Christmas Table für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.293,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Diana Armfield; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Roses From the Front Wall, Llwynhir im Juli 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.562,00 (€ 3.910,84).
