Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Devi Prasad Roy Chowdhury; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An Inmate of the Harem sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,990.78).
