Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Xteriors XII by Désirée Dolron for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,298.86). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Désirée Dolron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Xteriors VI, which sold at auction in April 2011 for USD 194,500.00 (€ 131,232.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Xteriors XII von Désirée Dolron für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.298,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Désirée Dolron mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Xteriors VI beobachtet, die im April 2011 für USD 194.500,00 (€ 131.232,71) versteigert wurde.
