Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Désirée Dolron could be acquired at Phillips in London in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Christa from Gaze changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,229.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Désirée Dolron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Xteriors VI in April 2011 with an auction result of USD 194,500.00 (€ 131,232.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Désirée Dolron konnte im November 2018 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Christa from Gaze für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.229,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Désirée Dolron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Xteriors VI im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 194.500,00 (€ 131.232,71).
